Our Wellness Based Learning Model
At the CWLC, we believe in nurturing a love of self, others, learning, and nature. We offer an engaging, project-based learning curriculum, which meets the unique needs and interests of children. We provide a safe, inspiring, multi-aged learning environment, incorporating social-emotional (SEL) and mindfulness skills curriculum, reinforcing a growth mindset and a strength-based approach to all community members. Students have a voice in their learning, opportunities for socialization and community building through collaborative projects and activities. Critical thinking, entrepreneurship, & self advocacy skills are all incorporated into the learning plans.
Family participation and community engagement are the cornerstones of our program and are reinforced through regular enrichment activities and family days.
